The Arts @ Midway
Visual, Writing, and Performing Arts Opportunities
Midway University seeks to celebrate the many creative endeavors of the university’s student body.  We offer many opportunities for students to connect with the campus community through creative outlets and co-curricular opportunities.  Students can earn General Education or elective credits by choosing from a variety of art focused courses or participating in University Chorale, The Midway Muse, and Midway Theater.
Chorale Music Program

The University Chorale is designed to provide interested students with an opportunity to perform the best of choral literature, develop vocal and musical skills, and promote artistic growth.  Scholarships for University Chorale are available.

The Muse Literary Journal

The Muse is Midway University’s student-run literary magazine. While The Midway Muse publishes creative writing like poetry and short stories, the magazine also promotes student work in the visual arts—sculpture, painting, and photography—the musical arts—lyrics and recorded performances—and in the cinematic arts—short films and scripts.

Theater Program

Midway Theater is for students interested in participating in a full theatrical production. Students explore theater from page to stage as a live performing art.
