What is Eagle Prep?

Eagle Prep is a one-day event that is part of the First Year Experience at Midway University. It is specially designed for incoming and transfer students and their family members. During Eagle Prep, students are able to finalize their course schedule and gather other important information as they begin their journey as a Midway Eagle. Attendance at Eagle Prep and other First Year Experience events are required for all incoming first year and transfer students.

At Eagle Prep, students will participate in small groups with an Eagle Prep Leader. This group will assist your acclimation to Midway by helping you meet some of your classmates and connecting you with returning students to answer all your questions. Parents and other family members will be able to hear from various campus departments and get important questions answered.

Don’t forget to pay your tuition deposit before registering for Eagle Prep or your registration will not be accepted. To submit your tuition deposit, please visit Self-Service on the MyMidway portal. Please refer to these detailed instructions for assistance.

The Week of Welcome follows Eagle Prep and begins on Move-In Day. This week corresponds to your first week as a student at Midway and includes a mixture of social activities to introduce you to your classmates as well as educational sessions to help you be ready for the first day of class.
