  • Leaving a Legacy: Liz Roach

November 17, 2021
“Although I’m not a graduate, Midway U is a special place and has always felt like a second home to me. My father and other family members have been involved with the university for decades, serving on various boards and other volunteer roles. As a young child, I would run around the campus and play in the amphitheater, take horse riding lessons, and play tennis on the courts. I even practiced learning to drive in the parking lot. As an adult, I've conducted interviews for the Ruth Slack Roach scholarship, visited Francisco's Farm, and attended events in the Anne Hart Raymond Center. I have included Midway U in my estate plans because I want to help make an investment in the future generations who attend there and encourage others to do the same.”
