I chose Midway because I loved the idea of the campus being a literal equine immersion. Located in the heart of the Bluegrass, I was eager to take advantage of the incredible array of equine opportunities. Growing up in a rural small town, I was interested in a small school with a personal touch.

Favorite Midway Memory:
When we traveled for IHSA competitions, we were supposed to be housed four to a room yet somehow our group ended up with five students in our room (our choosing) and we always had a terrific time.  We spent a lot of time together learning how to be better athletes, horse women, and friends.  Although I rode show hunters, one of my IHSA friends (roommates) convinced me to audit a semester-long cross-country schooling course.  Honestly it was so much fun, and I never would have done that without our personal connection and my trust that she wouldn't mock my fear of solid fences!

Skills Learned at Midway:
I learned invaluable horse care and management skills at Midway that I've used throughout my career in the equine industry.

Favorite Thing About Midway:
Even now I still love the small town of Midway, Kentucky and as a student, I sincerely appreciated the close-knit nature of campus. Honestly, I felt like all my professors knew me and genuinely were invested in my success and that of all their students.
